FAQ:
Q. What's COP? What does it stand for?
A. The coefficient of performance (COP) of a heat pump is a ratio of heating output to input power. Higher COP equates to lower operating cost. For example, when the input
power is 1kw, and the output power is 6kw, we will say the COP for this heat pump is 6. The COP should be calculated at a certain air/water temperature & humidity. To compare
the COP, you should compare it under the same condition.
Q. Is a heat pump difficult to install?
A. Not at all, the heat pump needs a solid concrete base or can be laid on paving slabs. The unit then needs an electrical supply and it is best to get a qualified electrician
to install this.
The plumbing is straightforward and the pipes are glued together. The heat pump only needs a flow and a return pipe.
You should install 3-valves to create a "bypass".
